Sherwood Schwartz, R.I.P.

The creator of Gilligan‘s Island (1964 – 1967)  and The Brady Bunch (1969 – 1974), Sherwood Schwartz, died early this morning at the age of 94. Gilligan’s Island was one of my favorite childhood TV programs.  I loved it!  I had no idea I would be living in LA when its creator passed away at Cedars Sinai Medical Center here… Continue reading

Australia: Day 3 — Bruny Island and Adventure Bay, Tasmania

Tasmania is full of wide open spaces filled with rolling hills, pasture for sheep, deep forest, and miles of untouched coastline.  The drive from Hobart to Bruny Island was gorgeous in the early morning sun.  Bruny Island is in fact an island and has no bridge; therefore, we had to take a ferry over to the island.
