Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (4 of 12)

Below are more old photos from my vintage Instagram account now long since deleted. Which came first: the house color or the car color? Only in San Francisco would one match the two. Back in the 1990’s, I bought these chocolates wrapped in colorful tinfoil shaped like lady bugs. Those who know me well know I eat all chocolate on… Continue reading

Below are more old photos from my vintage Instagram account now long since deleted. The top left photo is of the dining room in a wonderful hotel in which we stayed in San Francisco when we were house hunting there, knowing that Steve was being transferred to the city. Throwback Thursday Photo Retrospective (2 of 12)

Below are more old photos from my vintage Instagram account now long since deleted. The first photo (top left) was shot on the grounds of Jerpoint Abbey in Thomastown, Ireland. To be sure, neither is as stable as it should be! Both have speaker connectivity issues, but AirPlay is far, far worse. This aggravates the hell out of me as I prefer to use the… Continue reading

Innovation Out; Rent Collection In

I have often complained about Apple’s lack of substantive innovation since the original iPhone, their standard practice of marketing their most vacuous incremental improvements as radical innovations “rebuilt from the ground up” and selling those baby steps for absurd prices, and their push into renting everything from hardware (iPhone upgrade plan), then software, and services. They know the gig is… Continue reading
