We finally got around to setting up our AeroGarden here in Oregon. I love this thing! The AeroGarden grows plants in water (hydroponics) under an LED grow light. It works amazingly well.
We are currently growing herbs and spices. My favorite is the basil, which I literally eat everyday. Our second favorite is the dill, which we eat often with salmon and chicken dishes.
One of the things I especially like about the AeroGarden is that it is idiot-proof for people like me who have no green thumb whatsoever. In fact, sadly, except for the AeroGarden, I tend to kill plants. But the app monitors the garden and tells me what to do when: add water, add nutrients, trim the plants, etc. It’s awesome.
