This past September, we vacationed in Yosemite National Park, hiking all around the park. We also visited two old world groves of the stunning, giant sequoia, in Kings Canyon National Park and Sequoia National Park in California. These are two of the oldest and largest living organisms on the planet, literally thousands of years old. No words.

I have found the past several elections very, very stressful. (The change process is excruciatingly slow.) This election cycle is the worst of them all! My anxiety level has been through the roof. Conrad was born on November 1, 1999, and today is his 17th birthday. We adopted him, when he was 7, from the good people at Good Mews–a wonderful no-kill shelter for cats of all ages and health conditions.
