Romping Around the Headlands
Today we walked almost 5 miles around the Marin Headlands, 65,000 acres of undisturbed coastal headlands along the Pacific Ocean. In the 1960s, a developer purchased a significant plot of this land to develop it into subdivisions. Fortunately, his efforts were stopped, and the area is today part of the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. It’s simply stunning!
