Today I drove back to Oslo for my flight back to the US tomorrow.
This has been a wonderful get away in a land of unexpected and often breath-taking beauty.
Norway is both dramatic and challenging--an expansive land that still retains its old world ruggedness. Life here is hearty and the people place more emphasis on working the land and the sea for survival. The trivial matters often associated with materialistic societies are not easily seen here.
