Lusting for this Car: Jaguar E-Type

CNN is reporting that Jaguar has announced the return of the 1950’s XK120 and the iconic 1960 classic Jaguar convertible as all-electric vehicles. You can even have the company take the gasoline engine out of your own existing car and replace it with the electric motor and battery as they are designed to fit perfectly under the hood and where the transmission tunnel presently is. The car should drive the same (except for improved acceleration) as the suspension, brakes, and weight distribution remain unchanged. The cars are said to have a range of around 170 miles per charge. This is brilliant thinking!
