I originally thought this would be just another boring travel day spent couped up in jets. Well, it was. But we did have a little excitement in the Juneau Airport.
Delta had to bump a number of people from the plane, which was sold out. In fact, they were offering $1,000 to 8 passengers who volunteered to take a different flight. Why on earth did they need to bump so many people off of the flight and have empty seats?
At check in we were among the very few people that didn’t have crates upon crates of frozen salmon as luggage for the plane’s undercarriage! All of these people had been fishing during the final time of the season!
Otherwise, this was just another day of long, boring flights.
