This pano was shot today on one of Mount Tamalpais‘ many ridges overlooking the Pacific Ocean below. But today, as is often the case in the summer, the ocean was partially covered by a thick blanket of fog. In the distance you can see Mill Valley, Belvedere, Tiburon, Angel Island, Sausalito, the Marin Headlands, even the faint outline of the distant radio tower in San Francisco peeks out from the fog. (Yes, you have to zoom in, look very carefully, and know where to search.)
The air is fresh. The breeze is invigorating. The view is stunning.
